Hard Graft Pays Off

Swotting up on grafting techniques at Ryton's RHS taster day has paid off. My grafted apple tree is budding up - it rooted, yeay!

    Mine's the same - got lovely new growth.

    Bearing in mind mine was the one with the really awful root system, it's quite encouraging isn't it!

      I must admit, my root system was fairly spindly too, it's just nice to see them take and not end up a waste. A happy reminder of a pleasant afternoon :)
